Project: Aggression-mediated queen succession in tropical Polistes wasps

Research Interests: Behavioural Ecology and Evolutionary Biology of eusocial species

I am interested in the evolutionary mechanisms underlying plasticity of behaviour and life history traits in simply eusocial wasp species, the behaviourally-mediated reproductive conflict resolution displayed by these species, and the loss of plasticity at the individual level associated with the transition from simple to complex eusociality.
